A number of new dress and apparel designs were revealed this past weekend during the Walt Disney Company product legacy panel at the D23 Expo 2017. Â Alongside new designs inspired by Marvel, Star Wars, and some other Disney theme park properties, were a handful of Haunted Mansion themed dresses being released as part of a newly-announced partnership with Her Universe and The Dress Shop.
Expected to be released this fall, Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein shared two dresses and a new skirt inspired by the popular Disney parks attraction. Â The first dress, which she called “the ballerina dress” during the presentation, is a clear adaptation of the outfit worn by the tightrope walker in the stretching portraits. Â In addition to the dress, a matching capelet is also available to complete the look. Â The second dress, being called “The Ballroom Dress” features original artwork from Ashley Taylor and depicts the iconic ballroom scene, which wraps completely around the bottom of the dress. Â These two dresses had previously been unveiled during Star Wars Celebration 2017.
The final design is called the “Haunted Mansions Around the World Skirt” and features the Haunted Mansion from Disneyland and Walt Disney World as well as Disneyland Paris’ Phantom Manor. Â During the panel, Eckstein shared that the design had actually been completed for over a year, but is just now finally being released as part of their fall collection.
Her Universe’s Disney Parks collection will debut this fall at Walt Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland Resort in Southern California.
