Funko has unveiled six new Popsies that are perfect for the upcoming Halloween season. The new series of collectible greetings feature characters from “IT,” the “Child’s Play” franchise, Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” and Disney.
First, from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” Funko has announced an Oogie Boogie Popsie. The burlap sack baddie stands atop a box featuring green bug gift wrap and when you press the button on the front of the box, the message, “Let’s Boogie!” appears above his head.
Funko is also releasing a new Jack Skellington Popsies collectible greeting. Jack first joined the Popsies line earlier this year with a Valentine’s Day greeting. The new Jack is ready for Halloween and dons a tuxedo while standing atop a purple box. When you press the button on the front of his box, the message, “This is Halloween!” appears above his head.
Also arriving from the world of Disney are Mickey and Minnie Mouse wearing their Halloween best. Mickey is dressed as a vampire and looks to be inspired by the Spooky Mickey Pop! figure released in 2020. When you press the button on his box, the words “Boo-Ya!” appear above his head.
The new Minnie Mouse Popsies greeting appears to be inspired by this year’s Minnie Mouse Halloween Funko Pop! figure and features Minnie mouse dressed as a candy corn-colored witch. When you press the button on the front of Minnie’s box, the words “Boo-tiful!” appear above her head.
For horror fans, Funko has unveiled a new Popsies Pennywise greeting inspired by the character from the “IT” television miniseries. Pennywise from the film franchise was previously released as a Popsies greeting. The new Popsies Pennywise features the killer clown atop a teal box and when you press the button on the front, the words “Come play” appear above his head.
The final Popsies greeting revealed this week from Funko is also looking for someone to play with. Chucky, the killer doll from the “Child’s Play” franchise, joins the Popsies line with the message, “Wanna play?”
When Funko unveiled the new Popsies greetings, they said they would be available for pre-order from Walmart.com; however, as of this writing, the pop-up greetings still haven’t been made available on the Walmart website.
Popsies made their debut in 2021 and are collectible greetings featuring some of your favorite characters in pop culture. Each figure stands upon a gift box, and when you push the center of the bow, a special message appears above the head, and the figure spreads its arms out.
