On Saturday, Mezco Toyz wrapped three days of product reveals as part of its annual Mezco Toyz Fair online product reveal event. Over the course of the event, Mezco Toyz unveiled a total of nine new products. I previously shared the new figures from “Terrifier” and “Seed of Chucky,” but two more horror faces arrived on Saturday with the next release in Mezco Toyz’s revived Living Dead Dolls line and a new “Wednesday” release.
Living Dead Dolls: Damien
Mezco Toyz announced the return of its Living Dead Dolls line in 2023 and has released two dolls in the revived series, which features 18 points of articulation, interchangeable facial expressions and hands, and movable eyes. On Saturday, a third doll was revealed, and it was another character from the original lineup of Living Dead Dolls, first released in 2001. Damien will join Sadie and Eggzorcist as the third character from the original lineup, getting the updated Living Dead Dolls treatment.
MDS Roto Plush Wednesday
Earlier this month, Mezco Toyz added Wednesday to their 5 Points line with a special box set, and now it appears that Wednesday will also be joining their Roto Plush line. Inspired by Jenna Ortega’s portrayal of Wednesday Addams in the Netflix series “Wednesday,” the doll appears to follow past formats of the MDS Roto Plush figures, with an intricately tailored costume over a plush body with sculpted hands and head.
As with past Mezco Toyz Fair reveals, no other details were announced with the images. However, Mezco tends to begin sharing information about release windows and sale information in the coming weeks and months following the event. You can see all nine of the Mezco Toyz Fair reveals on the Mezco Toyz social accounts.
