Michaels has teased an upcoming summer collection called “Nevermore.” While it has no ties to the Netflix series “Wednesday,” plenty of pieces in the collection capture the aesthetic of the Tim Burton series (Not to mention shares a name with the school in the series).
Set to arrive on April 19, 2024, the new collection features over 80 pieces with themes of violins, florals, typewriters, and clocks, all of which are prominently featured in the title sequence of the Netflix series. The collection includes everything from tabletop decor to ribbon, wall art, and more. Check out some of the highlights from the collection below:
Light Up Bubblegum Woman Tabletop Bust
Uncle Fester would love the Bubblegum Woman bust. This unique sculpture features a woman with “bubblegum” in her mouth, which just so happens to be an LED bulb. By the way, there’s also a Bubblegum Man.
Wednesday’s black umbrella was prominent in the key art for the Netflix series, and this umbrella tabletop décor is sure to give off some similarly whimsical and dark vibes.
One of two typewriter tabletop décor pieces in the Nevermore collection, this decorative tabletop typewriter reads, “Bad decisions make good stores.”
7″ Being Weird is Beautiful Ceramic Tray
This ceramic tray is perfect for use as a small serving tray for snacks or as a trinket dish for catching all of your small accessories. Featuring “Being weird is beautiful” with a lace-inspired design.
15.25″ Hanging Ribbon Wall Décor
While the pink plaid ribbon would be offputting to Wednesday Addams, the ribbon’s saying feels perfectly on brand: “I don’t hate people I just feel better when they’re not around.”
8″ Black Is So Much More Cheerful Tabletop Décor Block
Add some goth style to your space with this décor accent. It features the message “Black Is So Much More Cheerful” in a beaded frame with a black rose in the center.
6″ Ceramic Hand Tabletop Décor
This gothic arch wall hanging looks as if it could have been lifted from the halls of Nevermore Academy.
Blending themes from two Tim Burton favorites, this piece of wall decor features a floral cameo and lace design that gives off “Wednesday” vibes while borrowing a quote from Lydia Deetz in “Beetlejuice.”
This unique wall cubby is shaped like a violin and features a black body and sheet music and floral design liner.
The entire Nevermore collection is available for preview now on Michaels.com and should begin arriving on Michaels store shelves in the next few weeks.
