On Thursday, A24 released a second trailer for its upcoming horror comedy, “Death of a Unicorn.” The film, starring Paul Rudd (“Ant-Man”) and Jenna Ortega (“Wednesday”), is slated to arrive in theaters in March.
From writer/director Alex Scharfman, “Death of a Unicorn” follows a father (Rudd) and daughter (Ortega), who ccidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat, where his billionaire boss (Richard E. Grant, “Can You Ever Forgive Me”) seeks to exploit the creature’s miraculous curative properties. But as we learned in the film’s first trailer, the discovery comes at a cost, unleashing a bigger, more terrifying unicorn out for revenge.
The latest trailer gives us another glimpse of the mythical unicorn in the film and takes us into the creature’s lair, before showcasing the horrors the group has unleashed.
Will Poulter (“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”) and Téa Leoni (“Madam Secretary”) also star in this dark comedy, which will be released in theatres on March 28, 2025.
