Blumhouse has released the second trailer for its upcoming thriller, “Speak No Evil,” which will be released exclusively in theaters on September 13, 2024.
Starring James McAvoy (“Split”), Mackenzie Davis (“Terminator: Dark Fate”), Scoot McNairy (“Argo”), and Aisling Franciosi (“The Nightingale”), “Speak No Evil” tells of an American family who is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation. What begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.
The latest trailer for the film gives us a look into the suspense of the film and the horrors the Americans face at the hands of their British hosts.
“Speak No Evil” is written and directed by James Watkins (“Eden Lake”) and is based on the Danish screenplay “Gæsterne,” written by Christian Tafdrup and Mads Tafdrup.
The film is produced by Jason Blum for Blumhouse and by Paul Ritchie and is executive produced by Beatriz Sequeira for Blumhouse, Jacob Jarek, and Christian Tafdrup.
