New Trailer for ‘The Occultist’ Arrives with News of the Horror Game’s Delayed Release

Daedalic Entertainment, in collaboration with developer Daloar, has released a new trailer for the first-person horror experience “The Occultist.” However, the arrival of the latest trailer is bittersweet as it also came with the news that the game is now slated for a 2026 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC.

Announced last August, “The Occultist” was initially slated to arrive sometime in 2025. In it, players step into the shoes of Alan Rebels as he embarks on a harrowing journey to the enigmatic island of Godstone, determined to uncover the truth behind his father’s mysterious disappearance. Equipped with his mystical pendulum, Alan must navigate the foggy streets and eerie buildings of Godstone, a place once home to a notorious cult known for its disturbing experiments and rituals.
