New York Toy Fair 2025: Here’s All The New Horror Toys NECA Had on Display

On Saturday, New York Toy Fair 2025 kicked off at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City for its annual trade show dedicated to all things play. Running through March 4, the event features thousands of new and unique toys, games, and more from toymakers from around the globe. Toymaker NECA had among the more extensive collections of new releases dedicated to the horror and Halloween genres with reveals announced throughout the weekend, including its “Jaws” 50th anniversary collection, series seven of its Ben Cooper Kids collection, and its Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Ultimate action figure. But not everything new that was on display got an announcement. Here are some of the highlights that have yet to be announced officially:

Toony Terrors

Toony Terrors is a toy line that makes your favorite horror characters look like they were pulled straight from a Saturday morning cartoon. While the previously revealed Universal Monsters Toony Terrors and Texas Chainsaw Massacre Toony Terrors were both on display, NECA also debuted a series of Toony Terrors figures inspired by FX’s “What We Do in the Shadows.”

The series of figures features vampire roommates Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, and Colin Robinson as well as former familiar Guillermo. Fans of the hit series will also appreciate the baby Colin Robinson and Nadja doll accessories.

Ultimates

NECA’s Universal Monsters Ultimates figures collection looks to be expanding even further this year. On display over the weekend were Ultimate figures of Boris Karloff as Ardath Bey from 1932’s “The Mummy” and Lon Chaney’s Phantom of the Opera dressed as Red Death from the 1925 film, “The Phantom of the Opera.”

The display also showcased a new Ultimate Metaluna Mutant figure and a new Ultimate figure of Frankenstein’s Monster based on the character in “The Bride of Frankenstein.”

Moving beyond the Universal Monsters, it looks like NECA will be dipping its toes in the Hammer horror waters this year with Ultimate figures of Christopher Lee as Dracula and Peter Cushing as Van Helsing from the 1958 Hammer horror, “The Horror of Dracula.”

“Terrifier 2” and “Terrifier 3”

Spanning both Toony Terrors and its Ultimates line, NECA showcased several new toys inspired by the films “Terrifier 2” and “Terrifier 3.” The latest collection of figures looks to include neutral and bloodied versions of Art the Clown and Little Pale Girl from “Terrifier 2” as part of its Toony Terrors lineup as well as a trio of neutral and bloodied versions of Art the Clown from “Terrifier 3.”

The display also featured what appears to be an Ultimate Art the Clown figure from “Terrifier 2” and an Ultimate Art the Clown figure from “Terrifier 3” featuring Art in a Santa suit.

Chucky Blind Boxes

For “Chucky” fans, NECA looks to be releasing a series of blind box figures featuring your favorite foul mouthed friend ’til the end. The mini Chucky figures appear to come in blind box packaging and are made to look like the Good Guys doll box from the “Child’s Play” and “Chucky” franchise. Inside, collectors will find one of at least six different Chucky figures inspired by Chucky’s various appearances from the “Chucky” television series.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles x Universal Monsters

NECA also looks to be expanding its TMNT x Universal Monsters line with three new figures, which were on display at New York Toy Fair 2025. While specifics around each figure were not on display, the figures look to be Shredder as Dracula, Krang as the Metaluna Mutant, and Donatello and Michaelangelo as some two-headed turtle.

NECA introduced its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Universal Monsters line in 2021 with the announcement ofย Raphael as Frankenstein’s Monster. The collection pays tribute to the world’s most famous turtles and Universal’s icons of horror.
