Nike and Netflix have joined forces to release a new line of shoes that are a modern take on Nike styles from 1985.
The Nike x Stranger Things Collection will be broken up into two releases of their Cortez, Blazer and Tailwind style shoes. The first release will be the “Hawkins High Collection,” which incorporates Hawkins High School’s green and orange color scheme along with their tiger mascot. The Nike x Hawkins High Blazer Mid, the Nike X Hawkins High Air Tailwind 79, and the Nike x Hawkins High Cortez will all released on June 27, 2019.
In addition to shoes the “Hawkins High Collection” will also feature select apparel including a Hawkins High School trucker hat, Hawkins High Phys. Ed hoodie, and Hawkins High School tee.
On July 1, 2019 Nike will release “The OG Collection” which features the same three she styles in a red, white and blue color scheme celebrating Independence Day 1985, with a year marker on the heal and a special firework display sock liner.
Each pair of the new Nike Stranger Things collection is priced at $120 and will be available at 7 AM on their release date. You can check out the full collection of shoes and apparel on Nike.com.
