On Wednesday, Netflix released the first official teaser for Tim Burton’s new Addams Family series, “Wednesday.”
Starring Jenna Ortega in the title role, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, and more — The new series revolves around the beloved and iconic daughter of the Addams Family, Wednesday Addams. The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday’s years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.
While an official teaser has arrived, we still have not received a release date. The new teaser ends with a release that says, “Coming Soon.” We know the eight-episode series is slated for a fall release, but when in the fall has yet to be revealed.
