Mattel Creations has opened pre-orders for the first doll in its new Monster High Designer Series, Lenore Loomington. Created by in-house designer Rebecca Shipman, the ghostly new doll is due to begin shipping on April 5.
Lenore Loomington is a garden ghost who protects her secret garden. The doll fully articulated doll stands 10.5 inches tall and is outfitted in a blue Victorian-style gown with cascading bell sleeves, a spiderweb-inspired bodice, and draped accessories. Her translucent booties, candlestick headpiece, and matching earrings complete the outfit. Lenore also comes with a glowing lantern and a spider friend.
Lenore Loomington comes in premium-themed packaging that includes an original poem by Rebecca Shipman that tells the story of Lenore. Check out the poem below:
On a dark, eerie night
Lenore saw a soft glowing light
Full of curiosity with a lantern in her hand
She stumbled into a mysterious garden surrounded by glowing sand
This mysterious protected place was so secret and kept out of sight
It can only be entered by bright candlelight
The garden is home to a menagerie of ghostly creatures and flowers
All searching for that special someone who would spend time with them for hours
To be in the garden you too become a ghostly apparition
But Lenore loved the garden and its creatures so much she wanted to stay with their permission
She noticed her body had become shimmery, ghostly, and very divine
