And finally, Matt Hooper, the Oceanographer, famously played by Richard Dreyfuss in the film “Jaws,” is getting a 50th anniversary Pop! figure featuring the character in his shark cage gear holding a spear.
Directed by Steven Spielberg, “Jaws” arrived in theaters on June 20, 1975, and became the first summer blockbuster, forever changing the movie industry. Adapted from the novel by Peter Benchley, the thriller tells the story of a menacing great white shark that terrorizes the summer beachgoers of Amity Island.
