RBG Films has announced that Dances With Films: LA will host the June 22 North American Premiere of “Listen Carefully,” the latest feature from filmmaker Ryan Barton-Grimley. Barton-Grimley returns to Dances With Films following the 2020 premiere of his previous feature “Hawk and Rev: Vampire Slayers.” “Listen Carefully” made its world premiere at Fantaspoa, the International Fantastic Film Festival of Porto Alegre.
Barton-Grimley also stars in the film as Andy McNeary, a troubled assistant bank manager whose baby daughter is taken from her room while under his watch. Now, he must follow the instructions of a mysterious voice on the other end of a baby monitor to save her before she disappears and his life is ruined forever.
Barton-Grimley stars alongside co-star/producer Simone Barton-Grimley (“Elijah’s Ashes”) and co-star/producer Ari Schneider (“Hawk and Rev: Vampire Slayers”), who plays The Voice in “Listen Carefully.” They are joined by frequent collaborators Audrey Haworth (production designer), David Rickabaugh (art director), and Sean Ayers (cinematographer).
“Listen Carefully” will premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre during Dances With Films: LA at 11:15 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
