Just in time for the pumpkin spice lattes, candles and dog treats to hit the streets, LVCRFT, the spooky-music hitmaking collective whose music has been filling the Halloween airwaves since 2019, has brewed a delicious anthem that you didn’t know you needed. Conjuring the hitmaking pens of horrorpop core group members Evan “Kidd Bogart,” Amanda “MNDR” Warner, Peter Wade, and Trevis Romell, this hip-hop-pop banger summons nostalgic vibes for what can best be described as a mix between Ludacris, The Neptunes, and Jagged Edge, sprinkled with pumpkin spice dust.
The new track, which is available now anywhere you stream music, is sure to be the background track to every PSL TikTok, Reel, and social post you see over the next few months and will have you belting out “Pum-pum-pum-pum-pumpkin” wherever you go. And while it’s easy to get lost in the song’s hook, if you pay close attention to the rest of the lyrics, you’ll find that pumpkin spice isn’t the only spiciness in the song.
