It all started with Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Then there were donuts, cakes, cookies, waffles, cereals, and various other pastries and confections donning the spiced pumpkin flavoring. But have we gone too far with the announcement of Pumpkin Spice Spam?
According to CNN Hormel Foods, the maker of Spam, has announced the release of limited-edition Spam Pumpkin Spice, which will be available through Spam’s online stores and from Walmart starting on September 23.
Despite the name, the product doesn’t actually have any pumpkin in it and instead, the Spam pork product is seasoned with cinnamon, clove, allspice, and nutmeg.
I’m not a huge fan of pumpkin spice to begin with, but this is a bit much. Will you be trying the new Pumpkin Spice Spam? Let me know in the comments or on social media.
