Beginning today, Thursday, August 22, the fall menu returns to Starbucks stores across the U.S., marking what many consider the official start of the Pumpkin Spice Season. In addition to the highly anticipated Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL), the new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai will join the full lineup of fall favorites, which will be available for a limited time while supplies last.
New for 2024
Fans of Starbucks’ apple-flavored fall items will be excited to know that a new drink is debuting in 2024: the Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai. Originating as a popular customer customization, the new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai features warming spice flavors of chai combined with creamy oat milk and topped with nondairy apple crisp cold foam for a seasonal sip that is reminiscent of homemade apple pie.
“We are excited to introduce the new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai to our customers,” said Rosalyn Batingan, Starbucks beverage developer. “This beverage perfectly captures the taste and feeling of fall. We have combined creamy oatmilk with notes of cinnamon, clove and other warm baking spices from our chai tea to compliment the layered flavors of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar which are infused into the nondairy cold foam topping.”
Returning Favorites
Starbucks has announced returning favorites across its fall flavor portfolio for fans of both pumpkin and apple. Pumpkin fans will be able to sip the following favorites all season long:
- Pumpkin Spice Latte – The one that started it all. Made with real pumpkin, this handcrafted beverage combines Starbucks Signature Espresso and steamed milk with the celebrated flavor combination of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices, it is available hot, iced, or blended.
- Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew – Crafted with Starbucks Cold Brew sweetened with vanilla syrup, topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and a pumpkin spice topping. (This is an All Hallows Geek favorite)
- Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai – Introduced in 2023, this creamy fall beverage pairs a rich blend of spiced chai notes with pumpkin cream cold foam and a pumpkin spice topping.
For fans of Starbucks’ apple items, Starbucks has announced the return of the following:
- Apple Crisp Oatmilk MacchiatoโThis drink features layered flavors of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar combined with rich espresso poured over creamy oat milk, topped with a spiced apple drizzle. It is available hot and iced.
- Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso – A perfectly balanced combination of Starbucks Blonde Espresso with notes of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar, shaken together and topped with oat milk
App Exclusives
Two additional fall beverages will be available this season exclusively through the Starbucks app. The Iced Caramel Apple Cream Latte is made with rich espresso combined with milk and notes of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar. It is served over ice and topped with smooth salted caramel cream cold foam. The Iced Honey Apple Almond Milk Flat White features Starbucks Blonde Espresso and almond milk poured over ice with a hint of honey and nondairy apple crisp cold foam.
From the Bakery Case
Fall flavors don’t stop with Starbucks beverages; bakery cases will also feature plenty of food pairings to go with your seasonal sips. For a limited time while supplies last, customers can enjoy the new Raccoon Cake Pop, which combines vanilla cake and buttercream, dipped in chocolaty icing. Starbucks has also announced the return of the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, which is topped with sweet cream cheese filling and a sprinkling of chopped, spiced pepitas, along with the Baked Apple Croissant and popular Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf.
