On Saturday, food blogger Snack Betch posted on Instagram a preview of two new Halloween candies we can expect to see in our treat bags this Halloween season. The new flavors from Reese’s and KitKat were likely unveiled thanks to product listings popping up on retailer websites, similar to how we got a sneak peek at this year’s General Mills Monster Cereals lineup.
Reese’s Werewolf Tracks Peanut Butter Cups
It looks as though Reese’s may be trading in its Franken-Cup, which debuted back in 2020 and added green creepy green crème chocolate shell to its Halloween-favorite Peanut Butter Cups, with the new Werewolf Tracks Peanut Butter Cups.
These special edition treats combine Reese’s creamy peanut butter with rich milk chocolate and a swirl of vanilla-flavored cream. Early product listings suggest the new Reese’s cups will be available in snack size, regular 1.4 oz size, and king size varieties when they arrive in stores later this year.
KitKat Ghost Toast
We’ll be getting a new Ghost Toast KitKat from KitKat. These ghostly delights feature the classic KitKat crisp wafers covered in a rich and delicious cinnamon toast-flavored creme.
As someone who fell in love with the Witch’s Brew KitKat when it debuted in 2020, I really hope this doesn’t mean they are eliminating the marshmallow-flavored “ghostly green creme” treat.
Like the Reese’s Werewolf Tracks Peanut Butter Cups, the Ghost Toast KitKat’s look as though they will be available in snack size, regular 1.5 oz size, and king size varieties once they arrive ins stores later this year.
These are just the latest new Halloween candy reveals for 2024. Late last month Mars announced its lineup of Halloween treats for 2024.
