On Monday, Regal took to social media to share three new popcorn containers being released in conjunction with the theatrical release of “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” on September 6, 2024.
The first collectible popcorn container is made to look like Beetlejuice’s tombstone from both the original 1988 film and the upcoming sequel. If you actually want to use the container for popcorn, the back of the container opens to store the salty theater snack.
The second collectible container is made to look like the Handbook for the Recently Deceased, the guidebook for spirits new to the afterlife that appears in the original “Beetlejuice” following the deaths of Barbara and Adam Maitland. The container features a simple design that opens just like a book, allowing you to store your popcorn or whatever other theater treats you might want to include.
The third container is inspired by the iconic Sandworm from the “Beetlejuice” films. The worm is coiled up in the shape of a popcorn bucket to hold your popcorn inside.
While an exact release date has not been announced, Regal did say the containers would be arriving soon at Regal Theaters. With “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” set to arrive in theaters in just one month, I’m sure the wait won’t be long.
