Robot Chicken’s The Walking Dead Special Gets a Premiere Date

At this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Robot Chicken released a trailer for their The Walking Dead special.  Now, the long-running Adult Swim stop motion animated sketch show has released a premiere date for the episode.

According to TV Guide, The half hour special titled, The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking will air on October 8 and will feature the voice talents of many of the AMC shows current and former cast, including Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Steven Yeun, Sarah Wayne Callies and more. Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick will also lend his voice.

The special will air exactly two weeks before The Walking Dead Season 8 premiere an AMC, which will bring the show to a milestone 100 episodes.
