Sam Raimi’s ’50 States of Fright’ Slated to Premiere on Quibi Later This Month


New entertainment platform Quibi is set to launch next week with two dozen titles debuting at launch, but there are a number of other titles making their premieres on the platform throughout the month of April including “50 States of Fright,” a new scripted anthology series from executive producer Sam Raimi.

The debut season of “50 States of Fright” will explore stories based on urban legends from Michigan, Kansas, Oregon, Minnesota, and Florida taking viewers deeper into the horrors that lurk just beneath the surface of our country.

“50 States of Fright” will premiere on the Quibi platform on April 13 and stars Rachel Brosnahan (“House of Cards”), Travis Fimmel (“Vikings”), John Marshall Jones (“Paradise Lost”), Ming-Na Wen (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”), Karen Allen (Raiders of the Lost Ark), James Ransone (IT: Chapter Two), Emily Hampshire (“Schitt’s Creek”), Asa Butterfield (Ender’s Game), Alex Fitzalan (Slender Man), Danay Garcia (“Fear The Walking Dead”), and Greyston Holt (“Bitten”).

Launching on April 6, Quibi is the first entertainment platform designed specifically for your phone and will feature all-new original content from Hollywood’s biggest stars and creators.

Quibi is currently offering a 90 day free trial for a limited time to those who sign-up at Quibi.com before April 30. The Quibi app is now available for pre-order in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Quibi will cost $4.99 with ads and $7.99 without ads.
