Following rumors that Wonder Woman 1984 would be coming to VOD instead of getting a theatrical release, Warner Bros. has set the record straight on the Wonder Woman sequel as well as a number of its other spring and summer releases including the first full-length animated Scooby-Doo adventure SCOOB!.
While Deadline is reporting that Wonder Woman 1984 has been given an updated release date of August 14. The May 15 release date for SCOOB! has now been set to TBD, meaning it will be getting a release sometime in the future, but when that is is still undecided.
This was one of the animated films I was most looking forward to this year, so if for some reason this doesn’t get a late 2020 release, you can guarantee I’m going to be screaming at the top of my lungs SCOOBY-DOO WHERE ARE YOU?!
