Scream Factory Bringing ‘Poltergeist II: The Other Side’ to 4K in August

Scream Factory has announced pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray release of the 1986 sequel to “Poltergeist,” “Poltergeist II: The Other Side.” The release will feature a brand new 4K restoration from the original camera negative and will be presented in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

“Poltergeist II” picks up after the events of the first film. In it, the Freeling family thinks they’ve escaped the horrors of their haunted house. However, a powerful entity known as the Beast sets its sights on Carol Anne, the youngest daughter. The Freelings, with the help of a shaman, must confront the threat and protect Carol Anne from being dragged into another dimension.
