“Scream VI” is set to arrive in theaters on March 10, but Cinemark is letting fans get into the scary movie spirit a little early, courtesy of a new Ghostface popcorn tub.
The theater chain took to social media on Tuesday to unveil the new tub, which is made to look like the mask of the Ghostface killer from the “Scream” films. The back of the tub features the iconic quote from the original “Scream” film, “Do you like scary movies?”
The Ghostface popcorn tub is available now at select theaters. Cinemark has already reshared a handful of lucky fans who were able to score a bucket at their local theater. Don’t have a Cinemark near you? You’re in luck. The theater chain has made the Scream popcorn tubs available online for pre-order.
The presale will be available through March 17, 2023, at midnight CST. However, the buckets ordered online will not start shipping until August.
“Scream VI” brings the Ghostface killings to New York as the four survivors of 2022’s “Scream” look for a fresh start in New York City only to find themselves being targeted by an all-new and more vicious Ghostface killer.
In “Scream VI,” Melissa Barrera (“Sam Carpenter”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Mindy Meeks-Martin”), Mason Gooding (“Chad Meeks-Martin”), Jenna Ortega (“Tara Carpenter”), Hayden Panettiere (“Kirby Reed”), and Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) return to their roles in the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving.
Tickets for the film are on sale now at screammovie.com, where you can also purchase tickets to a special “Scream VI” Fan Event at select theaters where you can catch the film in 3D on March 9.
