“Murder House Flip” was one of the few horror-tinged shows that launched with the short-lived, short-form mobile streaming platform Quibi. During the app’s short run, only one season of the series saw the light of day. But with Roku purchasing the Quibi catalog early in 2021, the second season has now arrived on The Roku Channel.
“Murder House Flip” is a true crime meets home renovation series where high-end renovation experts Mikel Welch and Joelle Uzyel renovate homes that were once the scenes of grizzly murders to help the current homeowners feel more at ease with the horrors of the home’s past.
While the second season has only half as many episodes as the first, the six-episode season features some homes that were tied to some pretty high-profile murders, including the house where actor Michael Jace killed his wife, the home where the actor Carl Dean Switzer, who played Alfalfa in “Our Gang,” was murdered, and a home where the Golden State Killer committed one of his crimes.
Both seasons of “Murder House Flip” are available to stream for free now on The Roku Channel.
