Earlier this month we shared an interview with Stranger Things comic book writer Jody Houser, in which Houser revealed that the upcoming Stranger Things comic book series would take place during season one of the Netflix series and be told from the perspective of Will Byers during his time in the Upside Down. Now Dark Horse has released a 16-page ashcan preview of issue #1 ahead of its September 26 release. While the full preview features scenes similar to season 1 of the show with the Stranger Things kids playing D&D, I’m only showcasing the pages with Will’s new perspective below. The Dark Horse Stranger Things four part mini-series kicks off on September 26. All four issues are being written by Jody Houser.
