Silent Hill Comes to ‘Dead By Daylight’ in Latest Chapter Announcement

Behaviour Interactive announced this week that Konami’s iconic game franchise “Silent Hill” would be joining the Entity’s realm in an all-new chapter of “Dead By Daylight.” The addition of Silent Hill will bring with it a new map, killer, and survivor.

The new map will be inspired by Midwich Elementary School, a prominent location in the “Silent Hill” lore, which has appeared in the games as well as the movie and comic book series. The decrepit school map features stained walls, rusted chains, hanging cadavers and other horrors from the world of Silent Hill.

The new “Dead by Daylight” chapter will also introduce the iconic “Silent Hill” character Pyramid Head, also known as The Executioner, as a new killer. The sadistic and merciless killer lurks the halls of Midwich Elementary School with his massive blade in tow hunting the all-new survivor character Cheryl Mason.

Mason of course is the daughter of Harry Mason, the main protagonist in the original “Silent Hill” game whose sole objective was to find his daughter after crashing his car in the mysterious fog-filled town. Having freed herself from the religious cult that had pursued her since birth, she now must fight an eternal battle in the Entity’s realm.

The “Silent Hill” chapter of “Dead By Daylight” is due to launch in June on both PC and consoles.
