NBCUniversal will reportedly make a handful of their iconic horror films available to viewers to watch for free via YouTube later this month via the distributor’s Fear: The Home of Horror channel.

The channel will begin premiering the classic films on Friday, January 15, 2021, at 8 PM with the release of Dracula (1931) and The Mummy (1932). The second pair of movies will premiere on January 16 at 8 PM with Frankenstein (1931) and Bride of Frankenstein (1935). The premieres will conclude on January 17 at 8 PM with the release of The Invisible Man (1933), The Wolf Man (1941), and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948).

Each film will be available to watch for a week, and during this period fans of the horror classics will reportedly be able to add the films to their digital film collection at a discounted price.

Films like Dracula, Frankenstein, and The Mummy are, of course, the films that helped Universal make a name for itself. If you haven’t added these films to your horror collection or haven’t watched them in a while, this is a great opportunity to revisit these horror classics.
