Earlier this week, Spirit Halloween debuted five of its new for 2022 animatronics. At the time Spirit shared that more would be on the way, and the Halloween retailer didn’t wait long to give us more. On Friday, two new animatronics appeared online: Nozzles the Clown and The Widow.
Nozzles the Clown is a new six-foot animatronic clown that has nozzles for arms that spew “toxic gas.” Nozzles features four different sayings and also let’s out a maniacal laugh while flailing his light-up green LED nozzle arms as they spew fog. The animatronic also features light-up yellow LED eyes and a black light responsive outfit. While listed on the Spirit Hallowene website, Nozzles the Clown is not yet available for purchase and is listed as “Coming Soon!”
The Widow animatronic is an interesting one. Standing at five feet eight inches tall with a neck that viciously snaps when activated and the story of how she got this pain in the neck is an interesting one.
Hell hath no fury like a scorned woman! When she caught her cheating husband with her sister on October 30, it gave a whole new definition to mischief night. Let’s just say dragging two bodies from the bedroom to the local lake can put a crick in anyone’s neck – that plus tripping on the roots of a Cyprus tree and tumbling down the muddy hill and breaking your neck. So now, when anyone in town hears a twig snap, they jump in fear that The Widow and her broken neck are there to take them to a watery grave.
In addition to snapping her neck, the widow lets out hysterical laughs and scream. Like Nozzles the Clown, The Widow is not yet available for purchase and is listed as “Coming Soon!” on the Spirit Halloween website.
