Spirit Halloween continued its daily unveiling of sneak peeks today and treated us with not one, but two new animatronics, Miserable Marie and Punctured Pete.
Though sold separately, the undead duo is actually a couple. Marie and Pete lived a simple life sans cell phone, internet, or TV. Living off the grid, they were unaware of the experiment gone wrong that set loose a horde of zombies from a secret government facility.
After his usual morning routine, Pete head out to fire up the wood mill while Marie remained in the kitchen, washing dishes and listening to the birds. The zombies found Pete first, and though he tried his best to fight them off, they got him long before the buzz saw kicked a sharpened piece of timber through his chest.
Positioned on his knees, Punctured Pete is just under three and a half feet tall and features red glowing eyes. His upper body shakes as he tries to remove the wooden stake from his chest as he lets out pain-stricken groans.
The sounds of the mill and the birds outside left Marie unaware of the dangers just outside her kitchen walls. As she listened to the birds one last time, the zombies climbed the front porch, entered the home, and proceeded to eat Marie’s face.
Now, in her zombie state, Miserable Marie stands five feet tall, and her upper body twitches as she moans and groans in agony.
Both animatronics are available now for pre-order through the Spirit Halloween website are expected to ship by August 26, 2020. You can pre-order Miserable Marie here and Punctured Pete here.
