Spirit Halloween has been teasing its 2024 Halloween animatronics lineup since earlier this month when it unveiled the names of all of the animatronics in this year’s “Carnevil” theme. So far, we have only gotten glimpses of the lineup, but on Thursday, Spirit fully revealed all 21 of this year’s animatronics and has even made some available for purchase.
“Halloween enthusiasts are upping their game when it comes to décor and they’re starting their quest for their favorite animatronics earlier than ever,” said Kym Sarkos, Executive Vice President at Spirit Halloween. “We are thrilled to introduce this year’s lineup, featuring fan-favorite characters equipped with innovative technology, and we can’t wait to see them come to life at incredible home haunts this fall.”
World Famous Entertainers
When Spirit announced this year’s lineup, the “World Famous Entertainers” category was home to horror icons that included Ghost Face, Art the Clown, and Michael Myers. Here’s your first look at the complete lineup:
Ghost Face – $279.99
Standing just over six feet tall, Ghost Face features a head-tilting motion and an arm that stabs and jabs his weapon in a frenzied motion. The animatronic comes with two interchangeable masks, an aged mask and a blood-spattered mask, and two weapons, a hunting knife and a machete. The animatronic features five different sayings from “Scream VI,” all voiced by Roger L. Jackson, the voice of Ghost Face in the “Scream” films.
Emily (The Corpse Bride) – $299.99
With today’s reveal, we now know that Emily and Victor from the stop-motion animated film The Corpse Bride will be sold as individual animatronics and not as a set. Standing just under six feet tall, Emily features servo motor technology inside her head for realistic side-to-side movements. This Emily animatronic comes to life with blinking eyes and a side-to-side moving torso. She also speaks various phrases from the movie!
Victor (The Corpse Bride) – $279.99
Standing six feet tall, The Corpse Bride’s love interest, Victor van Dort, features servo motor technology inside his head for smooth, realistic side-to-side movements. Like Emily, he also features blinking eyes, a side-to-side moving torso, and the ability to recite various phrases from the film.
Art the Clown from “Terrifier” stands just over six feet tall and plays a melody of horn-blowing sounds as he comes to life. This lifelike animatronic’s head and torso feature left and right movements, and the head includes a pair of removable flower sunglasses, just like Art does on the big screen.
Michael Myers – $279.99
Standing just over six feet tall, this all-new Michael Myers animatronic captures a loose likeness of the killer as he appears in “Halloween II” with blood dripping from his eyes and blue coveralls riddled with bullet holes. His head moves from side to side, while his body features slow movements. Clutched tightly in his hand is a blood-covered knife, which he moves up and down. The animatronic plays Halloween-themed music and will be a SpiritHalloween.com exclusive.
The Main Attractions
The Main Attractions category houses this year’s lineup of animatronics that tie into this year’s theme of “Carnevil,” with characters that look like they were plucked out of a twisted circus carnival.
The Ringmaster – $329.99
Standing at a towering seven feet tall, The Ringmaster speaks four menacing phrases. He also features laughing and tortured screaming sound effects. For the scare factor, The Ringmaster opens up his arms, tilts his head back, moves his mouth, and projects swirling souls on his chest to suck you in.
Nibbles the Clown – $299.99
Standing six feet tall, Nibbles the Clown is equipped with motion-tracking sensor technology that allows him to spot and follow anyone in his field of view. In addition to a moving head, Nibbles the Clown features a moving right arm and mouth. The animatronic also speaks three different phrases that play over haunting carnival music.
This massive marionette animatronic stands nearly eight feet tall and features arms and legs that extend out up to 8 inches and move up and down just as if his puppet master were controlling him. His eyes light up as he awakens, and he begins to taunt you with one of 6 chilling phrases.
Standing six feet tall, the Barnaby the Bear animatronic features an evil bear cub propped atop a circus ball. Barnaby gracefully balances on top of his ball with precise side-to-side movements. His bright red LED light-up eyes pierce through the crowd as he roars and growls at any hecklers.
Cotton Candy Dan – $329.99
One of the handful of animatronics now available for purchase, Cotton Candy Dan features glowing red LED eyes, a cotton candy bucket with a shocking pop-up head, and moving hands. He says four different phrases over eerie carnival music.
Oddities & Curiosities
This category features all of the new animatronics outside of this year’s carnival theme. The category boasts eight all-new animatronics, more than any other category for 2024.
Gravestone Ghoul – $179.99
Standing three feet tall, The Gravestone Ghoul features green LED light-up eyes and twitches back and forth while making ghoulish growling and snarling sounds.
Night Terror – $99.99
The Night Terror is six feet tall and features a glowing orange jack-‘o-lantern grin. The Night Terror animatronic features a head with up and down motions and makes cackling sounds.
Standing six feet tall, this eight-legged beast features a moving mouth and posable legs for a lifelike effect. The animatronic’s eyes glow red courtesy of LED lights, and its front legs move up and down. To make her even more frightening, the animatronic also hisses and plays spooky sounds when activated.
The Cremator – $199.99
This cloaked skeletal figure stands just over six feet tall. It is illuminated from within with flickering LED orange lights, paired with fire crackling noises that give the animatronic a fiery effect. The animatronic also features three terrifying voice lines.
Mack Straw – $179.99
Standing almost eight feet tall, Mack Straw features a rotten head that moves from side to side. The animatronic also flashes an unnaturally wide, toothy grin. Perched upon a pitchfork, the Mack Straw animatronic emits chilling laughter along with eerie wind and ominous crow sounds.
The Dark Princess animatronic starts at just 46 inches tall but then shoots up to her full height of just under five feet. When activated, her tilting head, pop-up arms, and wings come to life as she lets out ghostly whispers and a haunting scream.
Demonic Gatekeeper – $199.99
The Demonic Gatekeeper is a groundbreaker-style animatronic. When activated, The Demonic Gatekeeper speaks one of four sinister phrases and then raises from three and a half feet to nearly five feet tall. Orange LED lights illuminate the demon’s inside and eyes, and as a bonus, the animatronic is compatible with Spirit Halloween’s 400-watt fog machine to add a smoky appearance to the animatronic.
When Spirit Halloween listed “Giant Death Ray” as part of its 2024 lineup, I initially thought it was in reference to the release of the Mars Attacks ray gun they released in late April. Boy, was I wrong. Giant Death Ray is actually an enormous 10-foot alien animatronic. When activated, white LED lights illuminate the torso and move up to the alien’s arms. The animatronic also features servo motion technology inside its light-up head for realistic side-to-side movement. To add to the fear factor, the animatronic makes foreboding galactic noises.
Towering Tallulah – $329.99
Originally unavailable on SpiritHalloween.com, Towering Tallulah was announced as part of the press release from Spirit Halloween announcing the unveiling of this year’s animatronics. The animatronic is described as follows in the press release:
Her bewitching look and yellow LED eyes will be the least of your worries! This terrifying witch springs forward rising from 4 feet and 9 inches to an impressive 8 feet and 10 inches, while her signature evil laughter drowns out the sounds of screams.
Blast from the Past
The blast from the past category features three previously released animatronics that have been reimagined or re-released for 2024.
Cerberus – $129.99
The three-headed dog animatronic, which debuted in 2015 and was last available in 2018, returns. It features glowing eyes and mouths that open and close to reveal a glow from its throat. As its growls intensify, its body shakes maniacally.
First released in 2015, the Twitching Banshee returns in 2024. Standing six feet tall, she has glowing eyes and a jow that moves as she screams and wildly twists at the waist.
Towering Creepy Clown – $229.99
Towering Creepy Clown was available from 2017 through 2019. Standing six and a half feet tall, this terrifying clown animatronic returns for 2024 and features glowing yellow eyes and a body that turns from side to side. His jaw chatters as he says one of three freaky phrases.
An additional animatronic was announced via a press release from Spirit Halloween announcing the unveiling of this year’s animatronics, however the product does not yet appear on the retailer’s website. The animatronic is called Towering Tallulah and she is described as follows in the press release:
