On the heels of the new Halloween trailer, Spirit Halloween debuted an all-new Michael Myers animatronic for the 2018 Halloween season. Today, the Halloween retailer released an all-new animatronic based on another horror icon, Chucky.
The Bump ‘N Go Chucky animatronic is based on everyone’s favorite Good Guy turned murderer, Chucky from the Child’s Play franchise. The Halloween prop stands two feet tall and is sound and motion activated. Using bump-and-go technology Chucky is able to freely roam about a room while spouting off six of his iconic phrases as well as his maniacal laugh.
- Hi, I’m Chucky, wanna play?
- Who the hell are you?
- A true classic never goes out of style. now, sit back and learn from the master.
- I don’t have a problem with killing. I like a little killing now and then. What’s wrong with that?
- Now, the first thing we gotta do is get me out of this body once and for all.

Bump ‘N Go Chucky retails for $109.99 and can be ordered now on the Spirit website and is expected to ship on or before September 15, 2018.
While I dig the concept of the new prop, my first thought was “This just looks like Chucky is riding a Roomba.” Hopefully, the effect translates better in a dark space.
