It’s rare we get new releases from Spirit Halloween after the Halloween holiday, but on Tuesday, the Halloween retailer released its second post-Halloween animatronic for 2021, Bloody Bag of Jokes.
The new animatronic is a nightmarish clown named in a body bag that hangs upside down from the ceiling as he twists back and forth while saying a handful of maniacal phrases. Originally a stand-up comic, Joe the Jokester now finds laughter in pain and puts his body through intense and gruesome torture just to gain an audience.
The Bloody Bag of Jokes Animatronic is nearly five feet long and features light-up LED eyes. When activated the animatronic says the following says:
- “You know, I’m holding a knife in here. And do you know what’s bloodier than this knife? You, when I get out of here!” (Maniacal laughter)
- “Hey, whaddya think you’re doing, walking in here upside down like that? Isn’t all the blood rushing to your feet?” (Maniacal laughter)
- “Hey, how about you getting me a drink! I get really thirsty just hanging around like this. How about a Bloody Mary with a long, LONG twisty straw!!” (Maniacal laughter)
