The husband and wife duo behind Darn Tootin Games LLC have released a demo for their upcoming Halloween-themed brawler, “The Good Ghouls.”
“The Good Ghouls” is a brawler-meets-adventure game combining beat ’em-up gameplay with campy horror fun. The game is set in a wickedly witty world inspired by 80s and 90s horror movies where a demonic robot uprising is taking over the town of Ghoulcrest. Players play as classic horror monsters with a campy twist and must and must fight robots and solve puzzles to uncover the mysteries of Ghoulcrest and put a stop to the robotic threat. With its easy-to-pick-up gameplay, you can team up with a friend as you delve into this coming-of-age whodunit.
The game features an atmospheric art style and a John Carpenter-inspired Soundtrack by composer Ariyo Shahry that horror and Halloween fans are sure to love. The game’s demo is available now via Steam.
