Legacy Recordings has announced the soundtrack release for the third season of the Netflix Original Series “Stranger Things.” The album will be released in digital and CD formats, but is also getting exclusive cassette and vinyl releases from a variety of retailers.
The digital and CD releases of the soundtrack will be available on July 5, 2019 along with an FYE-Exclusive cassette. On July 26, 12″ vinyl editions of the season three soundtrack–featuring a mini-poster and bonus 7″ vinyl single–will be released. Exclusive colored variants of the vinyl with bonus items will be available at Walmart, Target and Urban Outfitters while an alternate cover edition will be available that day at Barnes & Noble.

Specific details on the Walmart exclusive version have not yet been posted, but the image on Walmart.com suggests the Walmart version will come with an exclusive colored vinyl, 7″ single, mini-poster and trading cards.
Target – Red, White & Blue Splatter Vinyl
Specific details on the Target exclusive version have not yet been posted, but the image on Target.com suggests the Target version will come with an exclusive colored vinyl, 7″ single, mini-poster and puzzle.
Urban Outfitters – Orange Vinyl
The Urban Outfitters exclusive version will be limited to 5,000 units and will be on orange vinyl and come with the 7″ single, mini-poster and stickers.
Barnes & Noble – Exclusive Cover
The Barnes & Noble exclusive release will be on traditional black vinyl, but will feature exclusive cover art.
“Stranger Things: Soundtrack from the Netflix Original Series, Season 3” will feature 15 classic tracks and the debut of an original cast recording (also featured on the 7″ bonus single).
