During day three of Netflix’s Geeked Week, the weeklong virtual celebration of all things genre on Netflix, the streaming service teased that “Stranger Things” would be coming to cross-play, cross-platform MOBA game Smite during its announcement that the series was coming to “Magic: The Gathering.” Further details from Netflix are supposed to be revealed during Friday’s final day of Geeked Week, but during the video game industry’s Summer Game Fest on Thursday, a trailer for the Stranger Things x Smite crossover was revealed.
The addition of “Stranger Things” will come via the game’s Battle Pass, in which players will be able to get skins featuring fan-favorite characters from the Netflix Original series, including Eleven (Scylla), Hopper (Apollo), The Demogorgon (Bakasura), and The Mind Flayer (Sylvanus). The Stranger Things x Smite Battle Pass will arrive on July 13, 2021, and feature an Upside Down Arena Map. Check out the new trailer for the crossover below:
Smite is a free-to-play action MOBA where players can take on the role of over 100 playable Gods in various game modes including Arena, Joust, Conquest, and Assault.
