While “Stranger Things” season four likely won’t arrive until sometime in 2022, Netflix isn’t letting us go without some new stories from Hawkins, Indiana, in 2021. We recently learned from SYFY Wire that Dark Horse Comics would be releasing a new YA graphic novel centered around the youngest member of the Scoops Troop, Erica Sinclair.

“Stranger Things: Erica the Great!” is being written by Greg Pak and Danny Lore with artwork by Valeria Favoccia, colors by Dan Jackson, and letters from Nate Piekos, the same creative team behind other recent “Stranger Things” graphic novels “Stranger Things: The Bully” and “Stranger Things: Zombie Boys.”

The new graphic novel takes place following the events of season three of the Netflix series. With the Starcourt Mall’s recent destruction, Erica has lost her favorite hangout spot and her sweet “free Ice cream for life” deal at Scoops-Ahoy.

To make matters worse, her brother is too busy for her and her mom won’t let her play Dungeons and Dragons anymore. This is the tale of an ambitious, bossy, brilliant 10-year-old kid dealing with boredom and the complexities of maintaining friendships through tough times.

“Stranger Things: Erica the Great!” arrives November 23, 2021, for $12.99. Pre-order now via Amazon or your local comic shop.
