Street Food Cinema is celebrating halfway to Halloween with a new Boo-ze, Bites & Frights event: Half-O-Ween, a halfway-to-Halloween experience on Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3, in the village at Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles.
The new event comes on the heels of two wildly successful years with Street Food Cinema and TIL Events’ immersive 21+ only Halloween event series Boo-ze, Bites & Frights. This halfway to Halloween edition of the event will feature a haunted “village” with scary outdoor movies, carnival games, boo-zy bars, taste-bud-tingling street food, and much more!
The new event weekend boasts a plethora of horror-themed drink options at multiple bars, LA’s best food trucks, and eerie entertainment throughout the night, including scares and ghostly photo ops. Those who arrive early will also have the opportunity to explore the Victorian homes with guided tours at the Heritage Square Museum.
Each night features one scary outdoor movie in two different screening areas: outside of the old church and by the Victorian homes. On Friday, May 2, Street Food Cinema presents the witchy cult classic film “The Craft.” On Saturday, May 3, it celebrates the 25th anniversary of the original supernatural horror film “Final Destination.” Costumes are highly encouraged, so dress to distress and show off your spookiest attire for a chance to win prizes.
Boo-ze, Bites & Frights: Half-O-Ween is open to guests 21 years of age or older. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., Victorian Home Tours run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the nightly movie screening starts at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets for the event are on sale now at streetfoodcinema.com. Tickets are just $30 online or $40 at the door. Parking for the event is limited, and an additional fee applies. General Admission parking is available at the Metro Gold Line Heritage Square stop. General parking is $25, or VIP parking is available for $35. Additional street parking will be available nearby.
