Super7 has announced pre-orders for a new Toxic Avenger ULTIMATES! figure inspired by the character as he appears in the 1984 horror comedy of the same name.
The new seven-inch scale figure is highly articulated and features the mop-wielding antihero in a movie-realistic colorway. Featuring an intricate sculpt and premium paint detailing, this figure also comes with multiple interchangeable heads and hands and a bloody mop with an American flag accessory.
The figure is available for pre-order through Super7.com through July 14, 2024, and is expected to ship in January 2025.
“The Toxic Avenger” is known for its over-the-top violence and humor. The film is set in the fictitious town of Tromaville, where Melvin, a wimpy janitor, is pranked by some bullies. When the prank goes wrong, Melvin ends up mutated by a vat of toxic waste. Transformed into a hulking, grotesque creature, Melvin becomes the Toxic Avenger, or Toxie for short. Despite his monstrous appearance, Toxie uses his newfound strength to fight crime and becomes a reluctant hero, battling drug dealers, thugs, and a corrupt mayor.
