With San Diego Comic-Con going virtual again in 2021, toymaker Super7 is again releasing its convention exclusive toys online. Today, Super7 released a new video announcing the year’s releases, and among the toys announced are new “Army of Darkness” ReAction figures.
Super7’s first series of “Army of Darkness” ReAction figures were released last year and were followed up with a series of Midnight variants earlier this year. Now, for Spectacular Kinda Sorta Still at Home-ic-Con, Super7 is releasing glow-in-the-dark variants of the Pit Witch and Deadite Scout along with a new “Captain Supermarket” figure. “Captain Supermarket” was the name “Army of Darkness” was released under in Japan, and the figure’s card back artwork takes inspiration from the movie’s poster. The new “Army of Darkness” ReAction figures will be released at 10 AM PST on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Each figure is $20 and will be available on Super7.com.
