Super7’s annual Boodega product release event is set to return on Monday, September 26, and ahead of the event, Super7 has unveiled over a dozen new figures inspired by your favorite monsters and horror movies.
The first figure unveiled is a new Halloween-inspired variant of Super7’s My Pet Monster ReAction Figure. The figure comes in a Halloween color motif and is packaged on a unique die-cut cardback!
Universal Monsters fans have a number of new figures to be excited about. First, Super7 has announced a Boodega Edition of its Frankenstein ReAction Figure, which pays homage to the climax of the classic “Frankenstein” film. The figure of the monster comes packaged in an iconic throwback-style diorama box made to look like the burning windmill.
Joining Frankenstein’s Monster are three new Boodega edition glow-in-the-light Universal Monsters ReAction Figures. New vibrantly colored versions of the creature from “Revenge of the Creature,” the Phantom of the Opera, and Dracula will all be released as part of the event. Inspired by the vintage model kits, these ReAction Figures transform under blacklight.
Sticking with the “glow” theme, Super7 will also be releasing glow-in-the-dark variants of its “They Live” ReAction figures. Both the male and female ghoul figures will get the glow-in-the-dark treatment with special glow-in-the-dark packaging that unveils a hidden message when you turn out the lights.
Glow-in-the-dark variants of Super7’s “Mars Attacks” ReAction Figures are also being released. Based on the controversial 1962 “Mars Attacks” trading card series, these ReAction Figures and their cardbacks glow in the dark.
Fans of the classic 1970s novelty puzzle-candy treat Mr. Bones will also have the opportunity to grab a glow-in-the-dark ReAction figure inspired by the Halloween treat. The ReAction figure and its cardback both glow in the dark.
Other Boodega releases announced include a new blue glow-in-the-dark variant of Super7’s Wing Kong ReAction figure, a new Supersize 16″ Mummy Boy figure, and glow-in-the-dark variants of three of Super7’s “The Worst” figures. All Boodega products will be available for purchase starting Monday, September 26 at Super7.com.
