Back on October 3, I posted to Instagram a handful of Halloween items I hadn’t previously seen in Target stores or shared on Instagram. The pieces, which appeared to be part of a Threshold collection included a black cat shaped throw pillow, a vintage-looking jack-o’-lantern candy bowl, and a spider web throw pillow. Numerous folks commented that they hadn’t seen the items. One person commented that she found them, but then wasn’t allowed to buy them. It turns out, its because the collection wasn’t scheduled to drop until yesterday.
The limited-time collection features a new line of home décor by designer John Derian. The nearly 50-piece assortment made its debut at most Target stores and Target.com on October 10, and it’s brimming with decorative accents for the entryway, living room, and dining room. Inspired by otherworldly objects and imagery, Derian brings his unconventional, elevated aesthetic—and a decidedly spooky vibe—to Target’s beloved Threshold Home brand.
Sadly, much of the collection appears to have already sold out online, though it appears some items are still available in store. Check out some of the highlights below:
The entire John Derian Halloween Threshold collection, or what’s left of it, can be found now on Target.com, or if you’re lucky, at your local Target store.
