Over the last few weeks, Target has been unveiling all-new and exclusive collector toys as part of its “Summer Geek-Out” event. This week, Target unveiled a new exclusive “Stranger Things” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” collaboration featuring some of your favorite characters from the hit Netflix series and the fan-favorite comics.
The new figures from Playmates team up Eleven and Hopper from “Stranger Things” with Leonardo and Raphael from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” The six-inch figures come in two sets, with Eleven teamed up with Leonardo and Hopper teamed up with Raphael. Both turtles are newly sculpted and based on the 1984 Eastman and Laird comic book, while Eleven and Hopper are inspired by their looks from “Stranger Things 3.” Both sets come in a highly collectible Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Stranger Things co-branded window box package.
The Leonardo and Eleven set features Leonardo, with his signature Katana swords, waffle throwing star, and 1980s portable cassette player. Eleven comes outfitted in her jeans with suspenders and dark blue/multicolor blouse with a backpack, flashlight, and 1980s handheld phone. Leonardo has 20 points of articulation, and Eleven has 18 points for action-packed poses.
In the Raphael and Hopper set, Raphel comes complete with his signature twin sai, waffle throwing stars, and a 1980s portable cassette player. Hopper comes outfitted in jeans and his iconic Hawaiian shirt from “Stranger Things 3” and comes with this handgun, baseball bat with nails, axe, and flashlight. Raphael has 20 points of articulation, and Hopper has 18.
