As part of its 2021 TCM Classic Film Festival, the Turner Classic Movies channel will host the television premiere of the SF Sketchfest table read of Ed Wood’s Plan 9 From Outer Space.
This special adaptation of the screenplay of Wood’s classic film from comedian Dana Gould features a stacked cast that includes Maria Bamford, Bobcat Goldthwait, Oscar Nuñez, Laraine Newman, Bob Odenkirk, David Koechner, Janet Varney, Jonah Ray, Paul F. Tompkins, Gary Anthony Williams, Baron Vaughn, Deborah Baker Jr. and Kat Aagesen.
The Plan 9 From Outer Space table read will air at 8 PM EST on Friday, May 7, 2021, on the Turner Classic Movies channel and will be followed by the TCM Classic Film Festival airing of the 1959 film Plan 9 From Outer Space at 9:30 PM.
The 2021 TCM Classic Film Festival will air from Thursday, May 6 through Sunday, May 9 at two virtual venues: the TCM network and the Classics Curated by TCM Hub on HBO Max.
