Remember last year when I shared with you that a new movie called “Lisa Frankenstein,” which was penned by Diablo Cody, the writer of “Jennifer’s Body,” was getting turned into a movie? Well, this week, the first teaser for the film was released.
“Lisa Frankenstein” is the feature-length directorial debut of Zelda Williams and is a “coming for RAGE” love story about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse. After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness… and a few missing body parts along the way.
The film stars Kathryn Newton (“Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania”) as Lisa Swallows and Cole Sprouse (“Riverdale”) as The Creature with Liza Soberano, Carla Gugino, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry.
The film is set for a February 9, 2024 release. Check out the teaser trailer below:
