Publisher SelectaPlay and developer Relevo are bringing the world of “Terrifier” to consoles and PC with “Terrifier: The ARTcade Game.” The game will be released in a killer physical Collector’s Edition for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch alongside the digital release for Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
“Terrifier: The ARTcade Game” is a side-scroller beat ’em up that takes inspiration from the most brutal arcade horror games of the ’80s and ’90s. Players will step into the oversized, blood-splatter shoes of Art the Clown as they carve out a path of chaos, gutting cops, mangling stunt performers, and terrorizing film sets with his signature blend of sadistic humour and nightmarish brutality.
Players will have a bloody arsenal of weapons to choose from that range from chainsaws to cleavers that can be used for over-the-top attacks and finishers that make every fight as entertaining as it is brutal.
Up to four players can play the game in a local co-op experience. They can work together or against each other in one of six different game modes, featuring multiple diverse stages and boss battles.
The physical Collector’s Edition of the game will feature several bonus items in addition to a physical copy of the game, which include:
- Enamel pins of Art the Clown and Vicky
- An original soundtrack CD
- A reversible poster featuring two striking designs
- A pair of bloody gloves so you can literally get hands-on with the carnage.
- A “puke” bag as a cheeky tribute to the film’s most stomach-churning moments.
- A stunning art book, packed with character designs, eerie environments, and spine-chilling concept art.
- A sleek steelbook case
- Exclusive digital content, including unlockable skins and bonus in-game mayhem.
The Collector’s Edition and Standard Edition physical releases are available for pre-order now and are slated for an October 17, 2025, release. Alternatively, you can add the digital version of the game to your Wishlist on Steam and PlayStation 5 for when it arrives later this year.
