Yours Cruelly, Elvira: Memoirs of the Mistress of the Dark
The official memoir of Cassandra Peterson, AKA Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, has had fans buzzing since its release back in September, thanks in part to the fact that the book revealed the horror icon had been in a private same-sex relationship for several years. But beyond her current relationship status, the 304-page book looks back at the life and career of Peterson. In “Yours Cruelly, Elvira,” the undisputed Queen of Halloween shares her life story in her own words. The book looks back on Peterson’s last 40 years as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, and her early life and complicated relationship with her mother. This is a must-have for fans of Elvira as it shares several stories from Peterson’s iconic career and personal life that haven’t previously been shared.
