Last year, despite the pandemic, Target had released its Halloween collection online by the second week of July. This year, for weeks, all that has been available from Target on its website are its Halloween-themed cat scratchers and pet costumes. But on Sunday, the retailer finally gave us a taste of what’s to come for Halloween 2021, with a handful of products hitting the site, both old and new. Here are some of the highlights:
New Target Halloween Decor

Animated Half Skeleton in Frame – $35
This motion-activated skeleton lights up and interacts with the unsuspecting person who triggers it.
71″ Lit Pumpkin Street Lamp – $75
Ghoulish Garden Birds – $15
Animated Plush Cat – $10
This animated plush cat plays a song and dances along to the music while meowing when you press his hand.
Animated Plush Witch – $10
This animated plush witch plays a song and dances when you press her foot.
Animated Plush Pumpkin – $10
These animated plush pumpkins play a song and dance when you press their stem.
Animated Plush Ghost – $10
This animated ghost plays a song and dances around the table when you press his hand.

Small Animated Pumpkin Snowglobe – $15
Animated Faux Halloween Pumpkin with Creepy Plants and Dancing and Singing Vines – $35
Back for its third year, the animated faux Halloween pumpkin with creepy plants and dancing and singing vines returns to get that song stuck in your head of another Halloween season… “Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme candy!”

Mischievous Cat – $25
This mischievous cat’s eyes light up, and its head turns from side to side while making creepy cat noises.
Animated Howling Wolf – $35
This animated howling wolf’s eyes light up, and it snarls and howls while moving its head up and down.
Animated Scene TV – $15
This animated scene TV takes you back to the Halloween’s of old. This antenna topped TV plays out an animated scene inside of it that is lit and features small ghosts floating around the scene.
The above are just highlights of what Target has on their site now. There are some other new items and returning favorites you’ll probably want to check out. You can view the full collection on Target.com. The only downside is that it does appear there are fewer new items than returning items, so hopefully, more is to come!
