Earlier this year, The Loyal Subjects released a series of Garbage Pail Kid mashup figures inspired by the classic Garbage Pail Kids characters and some of your favorite characters from “Stranger Things.” Now, the collectible toymaker has announced that for San Diego Comic-Con, they will release glow-in-the-dark variants of the WaffELLE and Demo GORDON figures.
WaffELLE is inspired by the character Eleven from this hit Netflix series. The figure features an Eleven-like character wearing the iconic pink dress and blue jacket from season one of “Stranger Things,” and she’s holding a plate of waffles as blood drips from her nose onto them. The glow-in-the-dark variant will have a similar look but feature WaffELLE in a green sweater and with green, glow-in-the-dark snot pouring from her nose onto the waffles.
The GPK Mashup Stranger Things WaffELLE Glow-in-the-Dark Snot figure is limited to an edition size of 300 units, which will be divided up among the The Loyal Subjects booth at San Diego Comic-Con, and www.theloyalsubjects.com. Online sales will be available on Friday, July 22nd at 9 a.m. Additional limited edition quantities will be available through Walmart.
Demo GORDON is inspired by the “Stranger Things” monster from the Upside Down, the Demogorgon, and features game pieces from Dungeons and Dragons trapped in goo. While the original figure was blue with blue slime, the glow-in-the-dark variant features DemoGORDON in the Demogorgon’s traditional color palette and features green glow-in-the-dark slime.
