The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor has announced dates for this year’s monster auditions and operations interviews in preparation for Dark Harbor 2018.  Dark Harbor needs hundreds of performers to help bring the ghoulish nightmares to life this October and will be holding auditions and interviews on select dates in July and August.
Monster auditions will be held Friday, August 3, 2018, from 6-10 p.m. and Saturday, August 4, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. During auditions, Dark Harbor will be looking for main and back up cast members for the roles of all of their main characters including Chef, Scary Mary, Graceful Gale, Samuel the Savage, Half-Hatch Henry, and Iron Master as well as maze and street monsters. Dark Harbor will also be looking for specialty acts (juggling, singing, magic, fire dancing, poi, acrobat, cyr wheel, silks, contortion, blockhead, etc.) as well as Sliders.
Dark Harbor is also looking to fill its 2018 Operations and Beverage teams. Operations roles include:
- Assistant Stage Managers (Maze Supervisors)
- Operation Supervisors
- Show Ushers & Greeters
- Sales Associates
Beverage team includes:
- Themed Beverage Attendants (bartenders, bar-backs, and cabana attendants)
Interviews for the various Operations and Beverage positions will be held on the following dates in July and August.
Asst. Stage Manager & Supervisor Interviews will be held:
- Tuesday, July 17, 4:30 – 9 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 18, 4:30 – 9 p.m.
- Thursday, July 19, 4:30 – 9 p.m.
Operations & Beverage Team interviews will be held:
- Tuesday, July 31, 4:30 – 9 p.m. (No Beverage Interviews)
- Wednesday, August 1, 4:30 – 9 p.m.
- Thursday, August 2, 4:30 – 9 p.m.
