On Wednesday, Mezco Toyz officially kicked off the return of its Living Dead Dolls line after a five-year hiatus. The dolls returned with an all-new release of Sadie, the original Living Dead Doll, and an all-new design featuring 18 points of articulation, moveable eyes, and more. On Thursday, Mezco debuted the second doll in the series with a reimagined Eggzorcist.
Eggzorcist, like Sadie, is one of the original Living Dead Dolls characters that appeared in series one when it was released in 2001 and has seen several iterations over the years. From the teaser image shared on Instagram, it seems that Eggzorcist will feature her signature bunny costume, purple hair, and noose around her neck but will receive a new bunny mask accessory. The new mask is likely a “Death Mask” face plate, one of the new features introduced with the release of Sadie earlier this week.
Unfortunately, with the doll being revealed as part of Mezco’s ongoing Mezco Toy Fair online product reveal event, no other details around price or release window were immediately available.
